Traffic stop leads to arrest

Three Rivers Police over the weekend arrested a man on multiple felony charges following a traffic stop for equipment violations.
According to a department media release, officers observed a small sport-utility vehicle traveling north on Main Street, where it was pulled over near Sixth Avenue.
Police said the 38-year-old driver, whose community of residence was not stated in the release, acted in a suspicious manner as he was being questioned by authorities. He was subsequently found to be in possession of narcotics, according to police.
A further search of the vehicle yielded details that led police to the conclusion the man was involved in additional criminal activity.
