Miller will seek re-election next year

State Rep. Aaron Miller announced this week he will seek re-election to a third, two-year term in 2018.
Though he was just re-elected in November to serve a term that began in January and concludes in December 2018, Miller said this week’s announcement ultimately lays to rest the possibility that he would vie for the seat of the 21st District of the Michigan Senate. The seat is currently occupied by John Proos. Proos will be term-limited when his eight-year run as state senator concludes in December 2018.
Miller, 29, said that after many discussions with family and deliberations of his own, he believes the decision is ultimately for the best.
Specifically, Miller said he chose this time for making that decision public in order to end speculation early, and once and for all, regarding either seat.
