County commission makes reappointments

A number of people were reappointed to various boards and committees following action Tuesday by the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners.

Linda Leensvaart was reappointed to a two-year term to the county’s 911 Advisory Board. Her term will expire at the end of 2020.

Meanwhile, Three Rivers-area resident Eric Shafer was reappointed to a three-year term to the St. Joseph County Board of Public Works. His term will expire at the end of 2021.

Also, five people were reappointed to the St. Joseph County Solid Waste Management Planning Committee. The committee members are: Eric Shafer and Aaron Cullifer, representing industry; Lee Zimmerman, representing environmental; Mendon-area resident Robert Robinson representing the general public; and county commissioner Kathy Pangle, representing municipalities.

Their two-year terms will expire in September 2020.
