Police search for missing woman

St. Joseph County sheriff ’s deputies, along with five K-9 units from Michigan State Police, recently searched several areas in Fawn River Township for a woman reported missing late last year.

Brittany Nichole Shank was most recently seen around 9:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in the 33000 block of Fawn River Road after her vehicle went off the road.

The area most-recently searched, near and around Fawn River and Watt roads, was covered by K-9s from Marshall, Niles, Paw Paw, Wayland and Jackson.

Authorities said that they have conducted more than 70 interviews and received about 120 tips; all have been investigated.

Shank is a white female, age 23, about 5-foot-1 and 110 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.
