Author returning to White Pigeon Library

More than two years after appearing before a standing-room-only crowd, author Elizabeth Berg is returning to White Pigeon Township Library.

The Chicago-area resident is scheduled for an appearance at 3 p.m. Aug. 11. Berg will be promoting her soon-to-be-released book, “The Confession Club.”

Admission to the event is free but a ticket is required. Tickets for the general public are available at the library.

As she did at her December 2016 appearance, Berg will do some short readings, discuss her work, field questions and conclude with a book signing.

In honor of Berg’s love of animals, anyone who attends is asked to consider bringing bags of dry cat and dog food, a pet carrier, cat litter or making a $5 donation. All donations will be turned over to Animal Rescue Fund of St. Joseph County.
