Search warrant leads to three arrests

Three people were arrested on drug-related offenses following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the city of Dowagiac.

Members of the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team gathered Wednesday at a residence in the 500 block of Gray Street. A tip alerted authorities to the potential use and sale of methamphetamine at the residence.

Upon further investigation, detectives located methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia inside the residence.

A 61-year-old man, 34-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were charged with possession of methamphetamine, frequenting and maintaining a drug home, and destruction of evidence, according to authorities.

The suspects’ names are being withheld pending arraignment.
