The St. Joseph County Intermediate School District Board of Education is accepting applications for a vacancy on its board.
The passing last week of Mike Bosma leaves a position to fill. As required by Michigan School Code, the ISD board has 30 days to fill the post. The term expires in October 2021.
Any registered voter who resides within St. Joseph County’s ISD boundaries is eligible to apply, with the exception of voters who reside within the Sturgis Public School District, as the board already has members representing that area.
Deadline for applying is 4 p.m. Oct. 16. Prospective candidates should submit a letter of interest to the following address: Teresa Belote, St. Joseph County ISD, 62445 Shimmel Road, Centreville, 49032.
