Constantine superintendent is a finalist

A St. Joseph County school superintendent is a candidate for the job of chief of Bronson Public Schools.

Steve Wilson, superintendent of Constantine Public Schools, is one of seven people to be interviewed for the post. One other candidate with local ties is Harmonee McCrea, who currently serves as principal at Wall School in Sturgis.

First-round interviews will take place next week, with second-round interviews scheduled Dec. 10 and 11.

The Bronson position became available after Rick Hilderly accepted the superintendent’s job in Tecumseh.
