Donations sought for children in hospital

Family and friends are celebrating the life and memory of Tegan VanScoik by collecting some of his favorite treasures for children spending the holidays at Bronson Children’s Hospital.

The project, Tegan’s Warm Wishes, is asking for donations of crayons, coloring books and warm, fuzzy blankets as a way to spread holiday cheer this Christmas. All donations will be delivered to Bronson Children’s Hospital Dec. 20.

Tegan’s Warm Wishes is being organized by Tegan’s stepmom, Mindy VanScoik.

Tegan’s Warm Wishes, honoring the 11-year-old Centreville-area resident who passed away last year, will be collecting donations through Thursday, Dec. 19.

Donations can be dropped off 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the secretary’s office at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine.

More information is available at 269-535-2967.
