Chamber plans to move to new location

The Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce announced this week it will be moving to a new location.

Chamber director Christy Trammell said the organization’s needs have changed and the new space will help meet those needs.

The new location will be in the plaza on North Main Street, a location that used to house a self-serve laundry and Big Lots.

Trammell said the new site will allow enough space for chamber-hosted events such as Ambassador Team meetings, Early Bird breakfasts, Lunch and Learns, and conference space for businesses to host meetings for up to 50 people.

She added that the new location will have space for start-up businesses and work-sharing.

The chamber is expected to be settled into its new location by Aug. 1.
