Fair moves forward with planning

Organizers of the St. Joseph County Grange Fair said, for now, the 2020 fair is still on.

The fair’s board of directors said in a statement Monday it continues to monitor the coronavirus pandemic but it plans to move forward with the tradition.

Plans may need to be adjusted depending on the state of matters in September, the board said.

Meanwhile, Michigan State University Extension has suspended face-to-face interaction with 4-H exhibitors until Sept. 1. As a result, MSU Extension’s announcement may make things look a little different this year, the media release stated.

Updates regarding the fair will be provided on the fair’s Facebook page and its website: centrevillefair.com.
