A woman died last week following a crash on U.S. 12 at Deer Park Road in Branch County.
The woman, whose age, identity and community of residence have not yet been disclosed pending notification of family, died at the scene.
Investigators said a 2010 Dodge Caravan had stopped on Deer Park Road, then turned into the path of a Toyota Seneca SUV registered to a Vicksburg resident. Other occupants in the van were a 38-year old Coldwater woman and her 42- year old fiancée.
One person involved in the crash was airlifted for treatment and another taken to Sturgis Hospital.
U.S. 12 was closed for four hours, authorities said.
