Arrest made following home search

A Three Rivers man was arrested Thursday following the search of a home by members of the Southwest Enforcement Team.

Detectives had conducted undercover work for weeks before obtaining a search warrant for the residence, located in the 200 block of Middle Street in Three Rivers.

Police said upon entrance, they encountered two men. One was not cooperative, police said, and would not show his hands when ordered. Eventually, detectives were able to detain him and found he had a 9-mm handgun in his possession.

Two more adults, one male and one female, also were at the home.

Investigators seized methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, scales and packaging material, a handgun and ammunition.

One person was arrested on a warrant, authorities said, adding that the case is being forwarded to the county prosecutor’s office.

Felony charges will be sought for all four people at the residence.
