The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle from a residence in Mendon Township. The green and white motorcycle was stolen either Sept. 23 or 24 in the 52000 block of Lakehead Road.

Police said a 17-year-old Centreville woman stopped on Shimmel Road at M-86, and proceeded to turn in front of an eastbound vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Middlebury woman.
