Members of the Three Rivers Education Association and the district’s Board of Education have reached an agreement on a two-year contract. Saturday’s fundraiser for the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Services of St. Joseph, Cass and Van Buren counties was hailed a success by event organizers. Officials from Three Rivers Community Schools are appealing to the public to help a Hoppin Elementary family whose house was destroyed in a fire last week. Infrastructure improvements undertaken last year by Three Rivers Community Schools have netted the district an award. During this week’s board of education meeting, district officials were presented an Energy Efficiency Leader award from indoor comfort-systems provider Trane.
