  A Ford 350 pickup truck was stolen last weekend from a public parking space in White Pigeon Township. State police said the 1999 dual-wheeled vehicle was in the Klinger Lake public access parking lot when it was stolen between noon and 4 p.m. Saturday. The truck featured a fifth-wheel hitch and had an Indiana license plate.  

  The city of Three Rivers has agreed to the purchase of wayfinding signs to aid motorists with locating destinations and points of interest in the city. An 8-year-old Centreville boy was seriously injured late Wednesday afternoon in a car-bicycle accident on M-66 near the M-86 south junction. The unidentified youngster was attempting to cross the highway when he did not see a vehicle driven by Joyce Waltke, age 79, of Sturgis. The boy was airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital for treatment.

A Muskegon man sustained serious injuries in a car-semi crash on M-103 north of Barker Road in Mottville Township Wednesday afternoon. 51-year-old Lyle Maki began passing a semi with his Volkswagen Beetle, when he collided head-on with an on-coming semi driven by Joe Takacs, age 54, of Detroit. Maki was airlifted from the scene to a hospital for treatment.
