The Village of White Pigeon has lifted the boil water notice.  The village had issued the notice several days ago when the municipal water system lost pressure.  Tests have determined that the village water is safe for human consumption.

Embezzlement charges issued

A warrant was issued Wednesday for the former executive assistant of the Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce. The action comes a day after the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office authorized a charge of embezzlement against Deb Herring, 57, of Schoolcraft. Sheriff identifies suspect

The Cass County Sheriff’s Department has identified the suspect in a stabbing incident earlier this week. Charles Ray Eubanks, 32, of Cassopolis, was arrested following the early-morning incident July 20 in Vandalia.
