Man arrested on drug charges

Investigators from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit arrested a man Monday for drug-related offenses in Three Rivers. Sheriff’s department officials said SCAN members had received information about a subject allegedly trafficking cocaine. Further investigation led to the discovery that the subject was on parole. Two survivors of Kalamazoo-area shootings upgraded to fair

Officials say two people who survived a mass shooting in southwestern Michigan have been upgraded to fair condition. Tiana Carruthers and 14-year-old Abigail Kopf remained in a Kalamazoo hospital on Tuesday. The 25-year-old Carruthers was shot outside an apartment complex on Feb. 20, the first in a series of victims that day. Abigail was shot in a restaurant parking lot. …

Walk for Warmth raised nearly $10,000

Saturday’s 31st annual Walk For Warmth event in Three Rivers helped raise nearly $10,000, according to event organizers.
